URBANGRILL – This new upscale casual hotspot in Henderson showcases American classics with Asian twists. The menu is focused on conceptualized dishes with respect for ingredients. One of the signature dishes, the twisted nachos, comes with fried won tons as chips, melted brie and Italian sausage. The dipping sauce for the crispy asparagus roll has become the most requested recipe from the menu. Asparagus is blanched, wrapped with kahlua pork, delicate cream cheese and rolled in phyllo. The sauce is a sweet/spicy concoction that pairs wonderfully with the ingredients. It’s great food, especially for paring with the very decently priced wine list. The wines have been selected with a keen eye for quality, value and exceptional taste.
The signature cocktails and choice beers on tap are perfect accompaniments for the special menu served in the bar. The stadium seating provides ample TV viewing, great for sporting events or sampling of the BarBites menu. The restaurant itself offers a large booth seating area providing intimate spaces for conversation. The glassed in kitchen provides a direct view into the kitchen, watching the chefs in action. There is also a private dining room with access to the patio that can be closed off, for private or corporate events.
Michael Yi, the owner of URBANGRILL, comes with years of experience managing restaurants for some top names in the culinary world, such as Wolfgang Puck, Roy Choi and Akira Back.
